RENNINGTON SCARECROWS ARE COMING ON SATURDAY 24th AUGUST 2019
In our Parish, the "Rennington Scarecrow Festival" takes place every year over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Raising money for the Village Hall, local charities, & for All Saints Church. Refreshments are on sale in the Church, on the Village Green, in the Village Hall and in The Horseshoes Inn. The residents of the small village of Rennington come together to put on a show for all the family around the village
and with games (such as SPLAT THE RAT) on the Village Green.
PARKING IS FREE
ALL SAINTS CHURCH in Rennington hosts a selection of MUSIC from local & nationally known artists. Northumbrian pipes, saxophone, keyboard, church organ, guitar and many other instruments produce music over the long weekend.
ENTRY IS FREE though we would appreciate your donation preferably Gift-aided!
HOME MADE FOOD & REFRESHMENTS ARE ON SALE IN THE CHURCH throughout the day from 11am - 4pm and all proceeds are donated to the All Saints Church.
